Yea it is! Make sure you do some homework before you get a clip though. Don't just buy the cheapest one....No matter how much you rebuild a motor...it's gonna be crap if the block is crap. Try to buy from someone that you've seen some good things about before. It's better to spend the money now than to spend more money later.

sorry for posting it under a different thread.... this place that i am getting my front clip from gives you 6 months unlimited mile warranty on their engines, and their engines already come with forged pistons. their clips are around 2,700 +s&h and engines are between 40-50k... a friend of mine got his this past summer and it runs strong, so they might gimme a little break on the price, i think i'll go with them since his engine works great, and it sounds great, but when it's time for that you guys know i'll keep you updated and ask for advice, because i am just a simple n/a driver trying to make a switch to more power

Sounds awfully sweet! Which place are you getting your clip from exactly. Sounds like a promising place. Especially since they warranty it. Good price too. Definitely ask questions and keep us updated. Here's something else for you to munch on:

it's this place in Baltimore, MD. it's this shop that was only doing domestic engines, and since there is so much money in imports they do both now, i have a phone number somewhere, but i don't think they have a website up yet. it's a familly shop i think father and 3 sons run it. they have about 30 employees, i cannot remember the name, i'll look it up guys and post it for sure
