Removing the caps from T-tops

I'm trying to remove the plugs that are on the top of some t-tops to put them in my tops....anyone know the best way to do this? Thanks

the black plugs on the window portion or the ***** on the shade portion? If its the black plugs, i'd say a razorblade or maybe a light chiseling, thier on there pretty well. I'd also say to do it in the sun, so the back side gets hot, and makes it easier to remove. I lost 2 of em thanks to the heat.
