So, Im redoing my interior at the moment and was trying to decide what material/color to use... Im probably going with Faux Leather for material, and was thinking either Navy Blue or just strait Black... although the thought crossed my mind to use navy blue crushed velvet for replacing the cloth trim on the door panels, on glove box, etc... any ideas on colors etc? my car is midnight blue and currently black leather interior with grey"ish" cloth on the door panels etc... just tryin to come up with something that looks good and isnt just your run of the mill average interior

 

I just got my seats re-upholstered and was talked into vinyl (faux leather). I am very dissapointed. The guy did a nice job and it looks ok, but not really like leather, but the real problem is the way it feels. It kind of sticks to your skin and clothes, so it's hard to get comfortable in it. I'm constantly adjusting myself, and when you first get in the car your pants get pulled in opposite direction as you slide in the seat. I find myself lifting and adjusting my clothes till I'm comfortable. Also the vinyl has a chemical smell to it instead of the nice leather scent. Spend the money and do the leather. That's what I'm going to do.

BTW know of a good place to get the leather from. Everyone says there's is the highest quality, but now I'm scared.
