Rear View Mirror

I am trying to figure out how to remove the rear view mirror (the inside one) so I can remove the head liner to find out what the rattling is up there. Does anyone know how to do this or has done it? Any help is appreciated.

most likely the temp fan...

sorry i can't really help with your mirror problem. But in regards to the rattling you hear, it's most likely the temp fan that informs your climate control chip (heard of similar symptoms from other Zers and the fan was the culprit).

Hey, Thanks a lot man, but I figured out the mirror thing, thanks to TT.net. I did'nt even get bitched out for asking a dumb question

. Anyways, The rattling is just because it is an old car, and I am trying to tighten her up. I have two more rattles somewhere in the dash I cannot find

.I dont have the climate control option anyways. Thanks for your input none-the-less.

i wouldnt recomend it for a z, but any other car i've known to have this problem i always give the fix all solution that really does work every time when the dash rattles. hit it. i just open palm pound it once or twice and it stops. lol. like i said, not in my z tho.

Hahaha good one pearly, I'm also a fan of the "hit to stop sound" technique. Never will or had to use it on the Z but it often works in my winter beater lol.

chirping

hey i hear rattling, or chirping coming from somewhere around my back too..I cant seem to find the dammn problem but before it used to be on bumps only. now its chirping often...any suggestions?help
