Yay, another piddly *** minor issue to **** me off every few days while I'm driving. The passenger side power window switch is vibrating and the vinyl on vinyl creak is driving me mad! To give you a better idea of whats moving, the entire housing is coming up. That neat little color matched piece that the switch itself is nestled in comes right up out of the armrest. Nothing seems to be broken but still I don't think it's supposed to come out like that.

Now then, enough bitching, time for trouble shooting. This doesn't strike me as a piece that would just be glued into place so is there a screw or something that may have come loose on the inside of the door under the armrest? How huge of an endevor am I looking at to take off the inner door panel? I see a couple screws but I'm always hesitant to start taking apart my car.

Front catch/latch is probably broken on the switch housing. Mine got broke and the guy at the stereo shop fixed it with a metal connector(electrical lug) His boss has a TT and he had to fix his several times.

Yeah, I'm sure it's something real easy like that. Guess I'll poke around and see if I can't get the door panel off without breaking anything. I mean, hell, if I can GET to the damn thing I can fix it.

I haven't but was planning on it this weekend. It sounds as iff something else is rattling around inside the door and it's bugging the hell out of me. As I was poking around yesterday a flat chunk of white waxy like crap fell out so I'm thinking there has to be more of it loose in there. This write up should help A LOT. Thanks man
