that alone makes no sense... because how else would you get the doors open if the parking was THAT tight. and the mirros don't really affect the amount of room you can open the door because they're close to the hinge. simple geometry.

I have them for drive throughs, atms, my drive way is skinny and to get by the other cars it helps, drive up movie return things.......

wait why am I indulding this idiots attempt to start a flame war. just let it drop guys, not the reason i posted about them.

IN DEFENSE OF THE FOOL

some body kits do serve purposes, IE more downforce and what not, but you really only need that if IT'S A RACE CAR!

well i guess thats your taste. i hate folding mirrors, i'm going to take mine out over the summer, serves me no purpose. i have a 2000 ford focus as my beater and when i go to any drive throughs i never hit my mirrors or scratch them, i guess it just depends on how you drive, i mean you are going like 2mph on a drive through whats the percentage that your going to scratch your side mirrors? umm well anyways dont wanna say anything, just have fun with your folding mirros, maybe you should make your Z RHD so it could be a real JDM.

you should sell them and make money off of soemone with taste like our then i guess.
and after 1000's of bakinc out and pulling ins in my tight garage i finally nicked a mirror. so it will happen once. my mirrors folded when they hit but still cracked a little. if they were pre folded without me geting out of the car wasting time. this woulda never happened.

A friend of mine gave me another good idea. Wire it it in with my security system so that i can control it with a switch for when i'm at a drive through or something and when i lock the car the auto fold in.

Do you have a part number for the mirrors??
I have been looking on eBay for these for a while, but all I keep getting is after market ones when I want OEM ones.
