I removed my stock spoiler today and set the new one in place. Doesn't look too bad. Just needs paint, a black strip and third brake light .










Heres my old spoiler which I just ripped off . You can see how its made of cheap foam and water came out as I was taking it off.

Yep. I think Im gonna get rid of that black strip that goes along the bottom of the car as well.

 

have you ever seen a white Z without that black strip that encircles the car?
I have and it just seems.....too white.
Gives me the feeling that the car is unfinished somehow, like something's missing.
I vote keep the black stripe.

 

LOL, I had a fleeting thought of painting my car a different color below that black stripe............. but then I saw a pontiac fiero, and though nahh. they would too closely resemble each other.

 

Eh... I don't think it looks that bad. It would look better if that area was filled in though. I may keep the stripe, dunno yet.

 

I actually prefer the non-black stripe, seems to make the car look much cleaner.

On a side note, the more I look at the J-Spec spoiler, the less I like it..

 

It's scary but same here. I think I migt leave my Z wingless. the body lines flow pretty damn good by themselves no need for add ons but the Jspec convertion if anithing. I mean look @ this. (my GT4 Z32)

maybe if ZX's spoiler was a bit shorter (width wise) itd be cooler.
haha, b- if your rear bumper didnt have that wierd curved lip on the side, it would look ultra sweet.

 

I have the stock spoiler for sale if you want it. It's a rare three piece one

 

Yeah, it would look better if it was shorter. Oh well. If I get tired of it I can change it later.

i like the kaminari spoiler. im getting one when my stock one starts to rot off. definitely needs the black strip on it.
