ok, so i may possibly need the trim piece that goes around the stereo opening, the whole thing, vents and all. it needs to fit a '94 with no center speaker, so i think anything from '91-96 should work. needs to be in great shape too. anyone care to guess why i might possibly need this ? i should know on monday for sure.

oh, and rizz, i know you'll probably say this should go in marketplace , but nobody ever reads that.

Psh! 59.99 + 20 shipping? ha ha good luck. I'll give it to you for 50 plus w/e shipping is. (the most it has been it was on T-Tp shades and bags. (weights about 5lbs) it was 12$ for shipping on that. think about it. (MY car is a 90 tho)

1. yours is a '90. i will need one that works on a '94, which is very late '91(i think post-tweed interior)-'96.

2. i said monday is when i will know for sure, just checking right now. if all goes well, i'll have a big surprise then!

Just for the record....

90-96 center console finisher panels are interchangable, there is no difference between them reguardless of interior fabric (I'm stating that as fact, by the way). The only deviation between models is determined by whether or not you have the center speaker. (as per usual with my statements, if you disagree, I'd like to see proof as to why I'm wrong... in this case, a picture comparing the differences between the center consoles of differing model years)

if you want verification of that fact, go to Coz's website (www.czp.us), then go to "store" > "Nissan OEM Parts 300ZX (90-96)" > Interior... notice that it does not ask for the year of your car to order it.

courtesy parts does specify a year, so i figured there must be some sort of difference. thats my proof. i may be wrong, but why would a 1990-91 witout bose speaker cost more than a 1991-1996 without bose speaker. especially considering this comes from a nissan dealer, not a third party retailer. thats my only basis for my idea that there is some sort of difference. anyone care to provide some amlifying iinformation?

... my center console is out of a 95 Z32... my car is a 90.

And courtesy lists the same steering wheel for 90-96 300ZX's... but the reality is that all 1992 and up Z32's (and 1991 Z32's with airbag option) had airbag steering wheels, while 90's and the remaining 91's did not.
