I'd say try your local Car Stereo shop. bring the pic with you. Any competent shop should be able to accomplish that with out too much trouble. Have you narrowed down what the components are? For that matter, do you have them already?
Good luck.
BTW, that's not a cd changer. It's just an empty map pocket.

I'd say then try and have your friend do it on the side. For custom installs, Tweeter will charge you by the hour. You should take measurements first though, the dash opening is a regular double din size. A regular radio will consume half that space, so that'll leave you with an opening approximately 7x2 inches by approx 6 inches deep. Unless your planning on buying an 'in-dash' cd changer that'll mount in a regular din opening I don't think your idea's gonna work. Most cd changers are wider than they are long, so I don't see it working. I know certain stereo manufacturers make such units though. Off the top of my head, I know that Nakamichi makes an indash 6 cd unit with built in tuner so it'll only take up half the space. Pioneer on the other hand makes an add-on in-dash cd changer. You'll need a regular cd/cassette unit to control it. Basically it's a cd changer for your dash that won't require major modifications. That'll work great if you're planning on a dvd/screen type unit to be your primary unit. Audio/video in the car seems to be the current trend so I thought I'd throw that in. Good luck in your search.
