Thought i would share with everyone, b/c so many people insist that have white bulbs in your front clear corners are illegel. This is an excerpt from the california law webpage.
24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of
intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or
amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light
visible to the rear.

Re: California Clear Corner Law
Although, I got a ticket for them. Unfortunately, I don't have the ticket anymore, so I can't quote the violation. I don't think it had to do with the color of the blinker, but more for the color of the marker or for not having an amber reflector near the front.
Re: California Clear Corner Law
But what I'm saying is, if there is another code that is being violated relating to the side marker color or reflector color, then quoting this code will do you no good. I'm not saying that there is, but I would be surprised if there isn't. I just don't have the time to look it up.
Re: California Clear Corner Law
here in cali there isnt, the only thing it says, is that the turning light must be a pilot light, which means on at ALL times that your lights on, which the J spec's do not follow...so thats something to be careful of.
