Does anyone know how to find out why my airbag light just came on? I think it might be a sensor but I don't know how or where to check. Thanks from the newbie trying to learn

Does your stereo and interior lights work? if not try checking the 10A fuse in the engine compartment driver side fuse box labeled Theft Room L or somethin like that... this fuse when blown causes the airbag light to come on along with killing the stock cd player/alarm/keyless entry and I think the dome light and power antenna.

 

No everything works, the stupid light is just staying on.

 

It might be the airbag controller, as far as I know if its been used the light stays on, mabye something just went wrong with it and it thinks its been used.
