I recently bought a 87 NA and it has a weird issue when turning the high beams on. The headlights work normally pop up and down, turn on and off, until I turn on the high beams, then the head lights stay up and the high beams stay on no matter what I do with the switch. The only way to get them to turn off without disconnecting the battery is to pull and reinsert the clearance illumination fuse. I have already cleaned the original switch as recommended and even tried a new one. I am at a loss as all other lights on the car are working correctly, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
