240z Headlights
My Z sat up for several years and I am trying to get it running now. All of the electricals work except for the headlights. All of the external lights work so I don't think it's the switch. Is there a headlight relay, and if there is where is it? Any ideas? the fuses are okay and the headlight bulbs seem okay.

I figured out the headlight issue. It turned out that the spring loaded actuator in the switch on the steering column was out of place. Now the headlights work every time. Now I just have to figure out why the instrument lights don't work. They did before. <sigh>

The headlight and instrument light problems have been solved. The headlight was an out of place spring-loaded part in the switch that can be cured by disassembly and some cleaning, ect. The instrument light issue was the **** to the right of the steering column under the dash, this **** controls instrument light intensity. BTW, this is on a '71 240z so I make no claims about other years.
