VG30E to VG30E Swap?!?
Hello all. I recently purchased an '85 2+2 (N/A) that the frame has nearly completely rotted out on, although the engine is fine and showing 150+ PSI on each cylinder. Now, I found even more recently, an '85 Coupe (N/A) with a blown engine. My question is, would an engine swap really be as easy as it sounds? Just pull from the 2+2 and bolt it into the coupe? The only other question I have is of the driveshaft if I were to use my 2+2 trans, even though both are the stock 5-speed. Would I be able to use the driveshaft from the coupe without any problems?
Also I realize that interior questions shouldn't be posted in the technical subforum, but would the 2+2 (front) seats bolt into the coupe body without a hitch? I would like to keep the fold-up passenger's seat for luggage purposes.
