I recently replaced the slave cylinder on my friends z as it was leaking. I bled the system, but I cannot seem to get the play out of the clutch. There is about an inch and a half of play, and after that, the clutch feels good and not squishy. I am pretty sure I got all of the air out, so what do you think this can be?

Sounds like you need to replace the master cylinder as well.
