No Boost

hi im new to zdriver, and hope to get to know some nice people. i bearly got in to nissans and bought a Z31 (N/A). i found a turboed parts car for $200.00. so ofcourse i turboed it. but for some reason im not getting any boost. that may also be cause i dont know how the turbo lines run. so if any body could please tell what may cause me to loose boost that would be lots of help.

So you "turbo'd" (correct term is "turbocharged") an already turbocharged car??? Or you put the turbo on the n/a car???

Turbo lines??? You mean the pipe going from the turbo to the throttle body, or the oil lines, or the coolant lines???

Please explain in more detail what you've done... and you should prolly read the book "MAXIMUM BOOST" before you touch the car again...

LoL... that would be a prob. You should install it just like it was on the other car. How is the air getting from the turbo to the intake manifold???

See the black pipe on the right side of the motor??? That connects from the turbo to the throttle body...

well, bit late now, but it probably would have been better to swap the whole turbo motor in. the NA has much higher compression, so you can't run much boost anyways. and yeah, if the turbo is not piped to the TB, well, yeah, there's your boost problem.
