Hey guys, I know the 300zr (JDM only) had a VG30DE style engine in it, but i would like to take a Z32 modern Non-Turbo VG30DE and drop it into my Z31, now most of it should b compatible i beleive but i need help from anyone and everyone who's done this type of swap before, i know why not go for the DETT, i like turbos but not in my Z which i use for Gran Touring, but i wanna know what the obsticales if many i will come across, and what things will need to be custom, etc. etc.
Thanks For any Info you guys leave

It's doable, but not really a worthwhile project. Some, but, very few have even tried.
Anywho, when you scrap the z32, be sure to get it all. You'll need everything from the ECU to the exhaust tips. Kidding, but you will need most of the hardware and software to make it work.
Please explain how the vg30de is gonna' be better than a rock solid vg30t.
