I plan on doing a swap to the vg30det, but i want to spare my stock 87 300zx block , built. is there any sites with cams pistons ect... for this motor ?

yeah, iv been there but i didnt see pistons rods and stuff..theres not alot to do to this motor unless turbo and i cant find a good stock kit for a decent price

 

w series block = z32 pistons and rods forged.....these motors are pretty built from nissan. how much you plan to push? im looking to do the forged z32 and rods but i plan to push the hell out of it. what other stuff you looking for?

 

i would go vg33et before going vg30det, imagine the problems and headaches of a stock vg30de/tt but with only one turbo. plus they are wider and heavier then hell.

 

ahhh sorry i didnt see the vg30DE...the vg30et is just as potential. but the vg33et is just as badass

 

i just thought of a stock turbo set up on the vg30e, hell i can upgrade but what gets me is the internals, are they going to hold up to 7 or 8 lbs of boost? are they the same as the stock ET? i know lower the comp. ratio the better. and the vg30dett is badass, stock iv seen them out run the 350z like its nothing.

 

the only difference between the longs block of a E and ET are the pistons and oil pumps.

 

You kept saying vg30det, I thought you planned on snagging a real jdm one lol. You just mean vg30dett -1t.

I have a buddy who is selling a w-series for cheap here in OK if you're willing to drive for it.

stock NA bottom end has taken 400hp before without any issues.
