fuel temperature sensor ?

Here are the facts. I have a 87 na 300zx. It idles fine. When accelerating it stumbles badly. Once it hits exactly 3,000rpm it's like a switch is thrown and the car runs perfect. I thought maybe it was the coolant temperature sensor but instead of just getting one and replacing it I decided to pull the computer out and do the self-diagnostic check. I get a code 41(4 reds, 1 green) faulty fuel temperature sensor. The manual says you can't get just the sensor, you have to replace the whole regulator. I went to this site to find the part I needed. http://www.az-zbum.com/information.common.parts.shtml
Part # 22630-v5001. It is listed as the sensor. My question is will this just be the sensor or the entire regulator assembly? The price is $29.29 so I would guess it is the regulator.

You know, I should have just ordered the switch to begin with. I went to local shop and ordered the regulator which the picture shows it comes w/ the switch and of course when it came in it didn't have the switch w/ it. $71 wasted so I ordered the new switch too. Since I had the new regulator I decided to put it on. Easy job right it's right on the front of the engine? Looks easy to get to right? Wrong. Fuel lines that have been on for 18 years are a bitch to get off. Those things were as hard as bricks. I had to cut them off, throw away the clamps that ended up mangled after trying to remove them, replaced them w/ new fuel line and new hose clamps. I figured it would take about 15 minutes, 1 hour and 15 minutes later I was done. Now, I am just waiting on the new sensor that is supposed to be hear tomorrow.

that's cause you went to the local shop and not to the Nissan dealership. Never expect the local shop to get genuine Nissan parts. Actually, expect them to NEVER get genuine Nissan parts. Then, be surprised if they actually do.
