Cut hole in charge pipe. Weld on bung. Install BOV.

A big one. If you don't have a fixed wrench of that size, perhaps you should try a crescent wrench. You need someone to turn it for you as well?

You dont need a bov if you dont have an intercooler. Do you plan on adding one?

eh? Why specifically is an intercooler needed for a bov to be needed? A bov bleeds off excess pressure when the throttle body is snapped closed... why would an intercooler be needed for that? I'm not saying an IC is or is not needed... but your advice makes no sense.

Your right about what its used for but the times ive seen it on a z31 have all been on intercoolers. Thus why i gave the answer i did. I havent seen an example of one being used without an intercooler and with a boost controller i imagine. Only other scenario i can think of.

Sorry I have an intercooler already and I have an hks recirculated bov already. And btw it's set at 10 psi from spring not boost controller and the reason for askin is I deffinatly need an exhaust cause mine is rusted out on the bottom. And I wanted to take off the pov so I can get the full 10 psi instead of just having it releasing the extra 2 psi

The first "Muscle Car" engine was a Rocket88 in 1949 and made an astounding 135hp at the crank and approximately 98rwhp.

So what do ya call a z31 that beats up on a modern "Muscle car" ?

A Badass Car.

I appreciate the help and I really like my z31 but I still like my z28 better.. The feeling of te ground rumble when it's running and having enough power to lift the front wheels doesn't hurt
