A different digital gauge swap

Hello, ive been a long time reader, but today is my first post, I just bought my 3rd 300zx, its a 86 turbo, with the crap digital gauges.

My queastion though is, I dont really want to mess with the main cluster, and just live with the gauges. But in the center of the dash, instead of having a stupid compass and accelorometer, would it be possible to take the center digital gaugues out of a 87 or something, with the oil, and boost??

Just wundering if something like this can be done, and if so, what am I going to need.

Ive searched quite extensivly, and cant seem to find a answer, thanks for all your help.

From what I know you'll need the gauges, wiring harness, boost pressure sensor, maybe the oil sending unit and a FSM. Not sure about the ECU but I'm fairly sure they are the same.

You'll still need a section of the wiring harness to make it work. Those gauges on the 87-89 digital cars are already found on the main cluster of the 84-86 digital cars.
