I am thinking about a cheapie upgrade to 16" rims......I have heard somewhere that newer rims off of a 90-96 Z would fit on my 86 N/A 2+2. Is this true or not?

 

I have an 86 and i am putting some 17's on it that are off of a 90, the back ones fit fine but on the front they hit the struts, so i am gonna try maybe some wheel spacers and see if that work out, i'll let you know what happens
