Yellow Koni Shocks in 1985 Z31 Turbo 228HP?
Hello everyone,
I want to replace my adjustable shock set-up in my 1985 Z31 Turbo 228HP as the adjustion doesn't work anymore and the shocks are weak after more than 30 years..I bought a set of yellow Konis 26-1248SPORT (Rear) and 8641-1060SPORT (Front). Now I heard rumors that there are problems associated with installing yellow Konis in cars with adjustable suspension. Could someone enlight me on this? Does it need modifications or is it simply impossible? Or did anyone do it without problems?
Thanks and kind regards,
Daniel

Install Successful
So we just took the risk and tried it out. Install went without many problems (Yellow Konis and K.A.W. 35mm lowering springs). Some problems on the rear as the big washers between the rubber strut-mounts were rusted onto the shocks. Konis don't include all needed material to replace so we had to get the rubber parts in addition and find washers matching the old ones. Front was without problems.
Car handles like a charm now. Much better than with the 33 years old suspension.
Best,
DG
