How reliable are 1986 300zx's in the winter cuz i live in CT???????? Do i need a backup car or will it be reliable enugh to be a everyday driver. How many of u use your 300z's as a everyday driver.

 

mine has 175000 miles on it and does fine in winter. although it will suck in snow. and make sure you wash it regularly, especially the undercairrage, or the road salt will eat it up. luckily they dont salt where i live, but i spent a winter in CT and know how it gets there.

drive mine every day. and i've driven between san diego and seattle a few times, once without stoping for anything but gas, and havent had any problems.

 

Mines a Daily Driver, i live in North Florida but sometimes it does get into the 20-30's. Don't have to worry about snow but if your engine gives you problems try letting it warm up before driving it =P

 

Booyah I got u beat! Mine has 257k miles. I use mine as a daily driver and it runs fine. The weather here in Gering Nebraska always sucks. Drivin on snow aint too bad. It's just a matter of wether or not you know how to drive on snow. Enjoy your new 300zx bud. Welcome to the Z world Friend!
