Anyone got a lead on where I could find either a dark right taillight or a light right taillight? The morons at the body shop and Nissan Canada put the wrong year lights in half the rear of my car when it went in for a hit and run repair...

And they never seemed to notice that none of the lights matched (including the center tailbar)!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd really like to find one or the other so I can have a matching set, I"m not too picky which way I go as long as I match.

 

Take it back and make them fix it. How long after you got the car did you notice it?

About 2 seconds. However, I had to wait almost 3 months for the parts and I was not about to wait for them to order new parts and wait for them to ship them and maybe send the wrong ones again, they just look at the numbers, not at the actual pieces themselves! =P

No one ever accused them of being smart. So I am stuck with trying to find a taillight that will match either side, oh joy of joys, and hopefully it won't cost me an arm and a leg!

Well like I said before, I noticed as soon as I looked at the car, but I wasn't about to wait another 3 months for another taillight to come in and have it be the wrong one again. They just look at the year and model and use whichever # comes up rather than asking which color it is, ya know, I never accused them of being smart!

So now I"m stuck with trying to locate a taillight to match either side so I can be somewhat back to normal with my car. I don't care which one I match either, as long as both are the same!

 

Okay... even weirder... now both of them are there... Ignore whichever is less coherent =)

 

If this is what you are looking for I might be able to help you. I used to have an 84 300zx NA and this was part of the spare parts I was given with it. As far as I know it works but I never put it on because so did the ones on the car. It is a right taillight. If this is what you are looking for e-mail me at 03-z-maniac@home.com and we can try and figure out how to get it to you.

I am not really looking for anything for it, I just don't want to have to pay out of my pocket to get it to you. It came with the car and I'm willing to let it go to you to help you out.

Thanks for the offer, but it just so happens that the light I already have in the light shade is the same one you have, but I really appreciate you offering it to me =)

I guess I"ll just have to keep my head up. They cost about $400 new from Nissan Canada
