Suspension for 86na

been looking around and came across two kits which is

(Tokico Illumina Spring Adjustable Gas Shock Suspension Kit for 84-89 Nissan 300ZX ) : description says turbo performance suspension
and
(Tokico HP Spring Gas Shock Suspension Kit for 84-89 Nissan 300ZX )

was wondering, which of these are better and guessing the illumina are but would they fit onto my chassis since it isnt turbo??

The Illumina's are better (not saying much), but they won't fit in NA strut tubes. if you find a pair of strut tubes from a Turbo car, however, you could put those on your car and you would be able to get the Illumina's.

The springs suck. Avoid Tokico springs. Just buy the shocks.

okay, would i need to get turbo strut tubes all around? or would this be ideal, to get tokico hp's in the front and illuminas for the rear if strut tubes are only in front(just in case cant get a hold of any)

I think they're good. i bought the entire kit thru my store at store cost. Thats springs, illuminas in front and 5 way adjustable in rear. they work good for me especially for the price i paid. Retail runs i believe $760.00 for the kit.

If you have an NA, just get Eibach springs with Tokico HP shocks. They seem like they were made for each other. I have them in my NA and it makes a wonderful daily driver that you can push a little when asked.

Ummm... Illuminas are all 5 way adjustable for the Z31, front and rear.

They're better than 25 year old worn out stock springs.
