Does a Gtr r32 short trow shifter fit a 88 or 89 turbo transmission? . They both use the 30a transmission.

This site Short Shifter - Nismo Solid Shift - Nissan Skyline R32 GTR / GTS-4, R33 GTR / GTS-4, R34 25GT-4 & Stagea WC34 260RS / RS-Four (NSM-32839-RN595) seems to think that it would not fit. Left column shows parts available for '88-'89 Z31s and shows no shifters.

There are short shifters that fit the Z31 turbos and there have been lots of write ups here about them. Also searchable on the net :slywink: Check out ISIS and Kenjuku to start... go to ISIS Performance Short Throw Shifter V2 - Nissan 240sx 89-98 - Enjuku Racing Parts, LLC and read down. You see that it fits the 300ZX.
