scratch paint code ? ... confused !
Hi,
I have a RED 85 300ZX. Paint is basically good, just some scratches. Tried to find scratch paint at supply stores but can't find the matching code. The code under the hood says "A 32", while the paint in stores has 4-digit codes. Any help appreciated.

Most stores have a cross-reference chart or booklet next to their touch up paint. I know Duplicolor has one - I looked at it only about 5 hours ago. It is not usually the same as the color code for your car. They may have the cross-reference behind the counter - ask them if they can look it up for you. Worst case scenario is you'll have to order touchup paint from the dealer.
