Hey guys. well I have a 1988 300zx. I was driving along one day with the stereo goin, no problems. Left the car for bout an hour maybe and when i got back in the radio wouldnt work or the clock. No lights or sound at all. then as i was driving it came back on for a few minutes then the radio turned off again. hasnt worked since. Now that that happened, the mirror controls, and interval wiper setting dont work. The clock does come on when the head lights are turned on though.? i checked all the fuses under the dash and their all good. I was hoping someone would know what the heck is wrong with my car cause Im kinda sick of things breaking on it lol. A friend thought maybe the stereo just blew, but i cant understand how that would affect the wipers and mirrors, unless their all connected. Thanks.. Oh yeah, its still got the stock stereo in it if that helps

 

I've had this happen on a few different car's. It's either a bad/corroded fuse contact or wiring connector. Get some spray contact cleaner.
