probably bled my clutch wrong

just bought a manual 85 z31 and nearly immediately had some transmission problems. guy before me said that its all because when he put a new master and slave cylinder in he didnt bleed it so i went in to bleed it and kept going over and over and the air just kept coming. now my clutch has zero pressure and im out of brake fluid. i am nearly positive i just did something wrong i know a lot of things but **** about hydraulics aint on that list. would love any help i can get, insults are allowed.

there wasnt air coming out but the clutch pedal is still at the floor. when my friend was pumping the clutch the part that pushes the pin into the slave cylinder was barely moving. what next?

I would recommend that you consider a vacuum bleeder. You will be pushing the fluid in from the bottom. Pro tip: Never release the clutch pedal with the bleeder valve open. Doing so will suck air into the system.

If I were you, I would think about a vacuum bleeder

Update

Forgot to update but after reading the service manual front to back i found that theres a silly little chunk of metal between the master and slave cylinder called a clutch damper. i immediately climbed under there and pulled it apart and found sure enough it was screwed. i couldve ran a brake hose between the line going to the damper and the slave but i decided to just run a new line from the master to have full confidence in the system. grabbed a $40 manual conversion line for a 240sx, did some fishing, bled it in 3 minutes and the cars never shifted better.
