New to z31s
New to z31s
Hey guys, im looking in to getting an '88 z31 turbo. Its red w/ red cloth seats, digital gauges, automatic, and 108k miles. Ill be picking it up for about 1200 bucks.
As of right now its not running, but the previous owner claims its a starter problem, and i wanted to see wat that would cost me as far as fixing it. My second question is about the automatic. I wanted to push this car up to around 350 hp w/ intake, full exhaust, intercooler, 15-16 psi and the TT fuel pumps. But i wanted to see if the auto can take that, or if it would be better to swap a manual in, and how hard is it to swap?
If its an '88 does it have the T25 or the T3 turbo? i looked it up on the registry and it was built 9/87.
THanks for all the info and im really looking forward to purchasing it.

if it's a starter problem, as in a problem with the starter, it won't be too bad.

$15.
the manual swap, as i read it, is not too terribly hard.
