New Z Owner
Hello all, I am 17, and Im going to be the new owner of a 84' 300zxT with 80,000 miles on it, Im paying $3000 for it, and its in immaculate condition, I also own a 95' Lexus LS400. The reason I decided to buy a Z-car is because one of my good friends owned a 91' N/A and sold it, and now owns a beautiful 91' TT with 27,000 miles on it, and they seemed like good cars, Now are my questions...
1. What are some cheap (relatively) performance upgrades I can do to my newfound Z?
2. Are z31's good AutoX cars?
Thanx for the help guys, and Im glad to be apart of the community

No. Too heavy and not enough power. Stock handling is not adequate enough. They were built to be freeway cruisers, not autocrossing.
Not to say they can't be made to autocross. But you won't be in stock class when you are done.
