MAF cleaning

well i tore a tube from the maf to the s-pipe but now that i have everything off should i spray the maf down with some MAF cleaner? just wondering if it would help at all or if im just wastinf time and money? also im thinking about eliminating the 90 degree elbow should i just go amf to filter or keep the elbow any advise would help thanks. T.O.F.

My air intake cone is mounted directly to my MAF. I've never noticed a difference. How old is your MAF? I got one Ill sell used in 4 time attacks. Practically new.... bought for '86. But totaled it racing a few months ago.
