Leak down at the rack

Steering fluid is visually dripping from where the steering column fits into the rack.

I think I have had it with Z cars. Going to fix this and sell before all hell breaks loose.

Looking at the FSM it seems the oil seal for the pinion housing is shot. Replacing it is beyond my abilities ..we shall see who I can get without charging me ridiculous prices.

I put in some fluid that stops the leak and believe it or not..it stopped leaking. I already bought the new rack..figuring the leak will begin again when the weather turns cold.
