Help!!!
Here's my problem. I was driving home from work on the highway at about 60 mph and my Z shutdown (just as though I turned off the key) no bang, no sputter, nothing, just shutdown. I still had power but the car wouldn't start. After thirty minutes of trying it finally fired and I made it home and it drove normal. Now, sometimes it runs for 20 minutes and sometimes for thirty seconds. I checked the ECU and I get error code 23...idle switch circuit. Can anyone help? Could this be the problem? Where is the idle switch? I am not familar with the idle switch. Let me know if you need more info. Thanks for the help.

Re: Help!!!
the idle switch is on the drivers side of the upper intake collector. it's about in the middle and has an electrical connector going to it. i don't remember if it's a 2-wire or 4-wire connector though.
You should be able to find a pic of one in the Haynes manual.
If you don't have a Haynes, pick one up - it'll be the best 16 bux u ever spent on your z.
Be wary of Chiltons, I've got both new and old ones and the only use I've found for them is as a doorstop.
