pull off your driverside kick panel. to the right of the steering column, youll see a black and white connector about an inch wide and 1/4 inch thick with a red and an orange wire coming out of it. disconnect it. you will still be able to open the lights with the button on hte dash or by flashing the brights. however, youll lose your "lights" idiot light.

Ive tried to do that on my car, but when i look at the wires under the steering column, i have 2 clusters. one has nothing to do with the lights and the other does but it has about 10 wires coming out of it. no two are orange and purple next to each other. Any idea which wires apply to the headlight motor?
