I have a weird problem, i just but in hid projectors in my 1987 300zx. They work perfectly fine, i decided to take it for a spin to see what the HIDs look like on the road, but then my right turn signal didn't work, left one works fine. when i turn my headlights off, both turn signals work perfectly, its only when the headlights are on that the right side fails yet the left side still works.....really really weird, any suggestions?

recheck your wiring
I'd say you might have a common and hot mixed up, so when your lights are on the turn signal is shorted, when its off the signals work fine.

Just tried that.....didn't seem to work, i know its not a HID related thing anymore. I put my halogens back in to see if it was an HID problem, but its not. I think i might have touched something while i was doing the "sleeper eye" mod. Where you just unplug the headlight motor wire under the steering column. So i reconnected it, but still nothing. when the engine is off and head lights are on, the right side turn signal blinks slow, left side works fine all the time, engine off and head lights off, right side works fine. Engine on and headlights off same thing, right side works fine, but right side engine on and headlights on, right side doesn't work at all.

I went and checked all the connection under the steering column and everything looks fine

Maybe a wire is getting pinched when the lights come up or it is shorting something out. Retrace your work slowly and carefully. They worked fine before right? I thinking its in the engine bay and not at the column.
