Headlight bright

Hey all my name is Chris I'm new on the forum but not new to it, I've owned a 1985 zx for two years now and have referenced the site on numerous occasions. I have had this problem since I bought my car. My right headlight bright does not work and I've put in new lights, relays, etc but it still doesn't work. I'm sure ill just end up having to trace down a short In the wiring but I figured Id ask for a possible simple fix. Thanks and ill be posting pics when I get on a computer!

Are you blowing fuses? If not, then you don't have a short. You may have a corroded connector or a connector that has been pulled loose/not making good contact. One other possibility is that a wire has been pulled loose.

Combination Switch

The Instrument Combination switch on the steering column can be a source of lighting issues, sometimes a contact will become dirty or corroded. You will need to pull the steering wheel to remove it. Good luck tracking down this gremlin ! Not sure if its possible to clean the switch while its still in the car, use Deoxit to clean the contacts.
