Gutt'n out the Vacuum lines, AC, and Heater system
Like I mentioned already I pulled my dash and heater core box. Im planning to gut the whole entire system out along with the vacuum lines tied to it. Is this a good idea other than not having cool air n heat? I can really care less for those features.
I want to rip out the rest of the AC system left inside, Evaporator, blower motor, vent tubes, heater core box, HVAC controls, vacuum canister, EGR valve, and anything else associated with vacuum. I would like to make everything electric if possible. I just want to know the consequences and benefits of ripping this whole system. This vacuum line and canister bullshit is unbelievable. Theres a vacuum line for everything in here and these lines are brittle and falling apart. Please get back to me when ya guys can. I appreciate all of your help. Id like to get back on progress again. Thanx.

im trying to read the vacuum diagram out of the chiltons manual. very confusing. Isnt the Evaporator part of the AC? Can i run a electric or adjustable FPR?
Just wanna get rid of this vacuum crap. Is there a write up to rid of the EGR, Bypass the heater core, remove carbon canister purge valve, etc. whats the purpose for most of this crap other than emissions? really need some more details on this procedure here.

Is that canister also connected to the fuel vent line as well? What would happen if I blocked off the EGR? Would all the exhaust gas escape out through exhaust with no problem n give me shitty gas mileage. Is there any way I can get rif of that too along with all the other vacuum lines on the motor? I wanna be vacuum box and line free and go all electrical if possible. Thanx again Hoov100. Ya have helped me out a lot so far with this difficult decision.
