Ok I see the wire were the lever pulls the cord to push out the wedge blocking the Door.Can any one tell me either in the Haynes manual or on here how I can fix this my self.if I have to take it to Nissan I would not mind.but I want to know if I can fix this my self.Thanks

I removed the right side panel and can clearly see the wire that is used to open the door.

My Trunk opens fine.

 

Open trunk. Remove tool kit. Look at the device to see what isn't working.

 

I stated what was not working.just asking if any one has a quick fix So that the door will open with the lever on the driver side of the car.

 

Woooot.I just fixed it.I guess the cord got jammed or something.I just took a Flat Head ScrewDriver and just pulled the little pulley system the way it was originally supposed to go.I went to the lever and did a quick test to see if it worked.I peek over my Hood and bam the gas kick door is open.

 

The quick fix is to open your ****ing eyes. See what happens when you do that?
