fpr control module workaround

Hello. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing the fuel pressure regulator control module, nissan part number 22626-01P01? my mechanic gave me a bulletin from 1984 stating that my car's problem - stalling after a hot start - could be resolved by replacing the fpr and the fpr control module. i have a new fpr, but i can't find the control module. it appears to be NLA.

any suggestions? i have hardly driven my Z since i bought it for fear of it stranding me because of this problem. my goal (perhaps unrealistic) is to get the car to daily driver condition.

thanks.
