Fender Question

Anybody know if a front fender from an 84 will fit an 86 2+2?

It should. Primary differences in the front between the '84-'85 and the '86-'89 are the hood, headlights, bumper and the bumper cover. What I'm not sure of is whether or not the trim (behind the wheel) will match. The '86-'89 had smaller trim pieces. I don't know if they '84-'85 trim piece can be transfered onto the newer fender and fit properly. So, it should fit, but it may not look right because of that. I'm sure some of the other Z31ers know the complete details.

Yes, but it will look funny. The 84-85 fenders are narrower and have a definate ridge to the wheel flare. The 86-89 all have the same shape fenders, but the 87-89 will have extra holes for their side skirts.

Any Z31 fenders will fit any year/model/seats/engine/etc Z31. Your best bet for a perfect fit is any 86. If you don't mind filling a couple holes, then 87-89 will be fine as well. Also, a 50th AE fender is exactly the same as an 86 fender in hole alignment, but they're pretty rare to find in good shape.

what side fender do you need? where are you located? theres a sweet 86 2+2 with its fenders still intact around the Bay Area, Ca. but Im taking the Drivers side for my car.
