Hi, i read your page about the factor alarm and had a quick question. As it says on your page...

How to activate (arm) the alarm:

Close both doors
Close trunk
Close hood
Lock driver door with key
OR
Lock driver door while open
Close door(s) while holding up handle *
Close trunk
Close hood

These steps can be done in any order

From what it looks like, it take 4 steps to arm the alarm. Is that correct?

Well, if the car is all closed up, then it really only takes one step, locking the door.

You don't have to open anything up. You just have to make sure it's all closed. If there is something not closed, the little "security" light will blink.

 

Ah, that makes alot more sense now. Just something about the way it was worded threw me off. Sounded like you had to do that in a series of steps or something stupid like that. Thanks again.
