E Brake Light

My E Brake light stopped coming on the other day when i have it engaged. My brake fluid is full, what is the problem?

The light should only come on
1. When the e-brake is engage
2. When your brake fluid is low
3. The sensor is bad

There might be other times but those are the common ones that i know of.

There is a warning switch inline with the lever. Check that.

thanks but the problem is it isn't coming on...and it's not that the light has burnt out because it is goes on when i start the car and shuts off with all the others after a second

thats what I'm saying, if the switch is broken it won't warn that the p-brake is on so the light won't come on when you pull up the lever

okay i took of that little boot like thing off of my lever and i saw a little spring type thing that looked like it was a senser to see if it was engaged or not...if that is it or isn't, what do i do to fix it so that the light comes on when i am suppose to?
