Welcome to ZDriver! :006:

The BW T5 and Nissan transmissions have different output shafts. Use a drive shaft meant for the FS5W71C (Z31 n/a transmission).

you will need a 87-89 NA 2 seater driveshaft unless you want to change the differential flange.
84-86 diff flange is different than 87-89. Any 84-89 NA driveshaft will work with the proper matched diff flange.

Nope. He will need the 84-86 NA 2 seater driveshaft. If he had the BW, then he has an 84-86 turbo (two seater).

hey um well its a 87 tranny im putting in an taking out the borg warner

*sigh*

You have an 84-86 turbo, right? This means you have an 84-86 companion flange on the differential. Unless you want the added expense of the 87-89 companion flange, get the 84-86 NA 2 seater driveshaft.
