Car available... not sure.
Heya all. I frequent many forums on the internet... seem to always be the best sources of information and intelligent mature people.
Kudos to the moderator az, I read one of his posts about this ______ guy called s0n (5/23/03). (words do not describe s0n). Good job there.
Anyway I want to say hi and now onto my question:
---------------------------------------------------
I was driving along in my volvo '91 740 turbo when I saw a car in the dark for sale (this was in a parking lot). I looked closer and saw that it was an old 80s nissan. Then saw that it was a 300zx! Wow. It has a nice body and all so I wrote down the number.
Two seconds later I saw the owner get in so I went up and asked a couple questions.
-It is an 86 turbo.
-127,000mi. engine
-Good interior and exterior. (exterior had good paint and rebuilt exterior)
-Starts well. Idles well.
-May have a loose suspension (he sat down and it bounced more than expected).
-engine compartment looks well maintained (no frayed wires, no banged parts)
-says its all stock
-sells for $3000... but probably bargainable ("I need to sell it because I have a wife and kids. I need a four door car" what he said)
What do you guys think. I'm VERY interested. BUT I don't know ANYTHING really about the car so I need raw stats and info about it. I can't seem to find anything about the z31 that is comprehensive on the internet. Best I know is that the engine is

86T is one of the nicest looking Z31's as well.
As for the Suspension, even if it needs new shocks/struts you can get a nice Tokico setup off Ebay for it for $400 ish and get that installed.
Do yourself a favor too...get under and look at the bushings especially in the front end and also take it for a good drive and check for brake shudder/vibration.
If everything looks and drives good...go for it...thats a good price on that car.

two words. BUY IT!!! i just got my 87na a few months ago and i love it. havent had any major problems yet, in fact, havent had many minor ones either. these cars are great fun, cheap to keep running, and still able to turn heads every now and then. definately try and haggle the price, but 3000 still isnt bad at all for the shape its in and miles that are on it.
