I have a very squeaky belt pulley on my 88 300zx. its the torsion pulley I think (the one that's not connected to a power steering or alternator, its not connected to anything)

I've been looking for a replacement but I cant find anything that even looks remotely similar, can someone please help? Thank you

 

See if you can locate the noisy one on 2-N1 of your parts fiche (XenonZ31 Reference) . Yeah, the fiche is a pain to follow around - but finding the right part number might help you with NAPA, etc. That's after you tried all the spray lubricants you can on the noisy pulley. Bearings get noisy, need to spend time in the rest home. But I know the noise you mean and it's gotta go. Please report back. Thanks.

 

Okay i got some belt dressing stuff thats supposed to stop squealing, and tomorrow im just goona spay the crap out of the squeaky pulley. It suck driving up to Big packed area and just seaing everyone turn and look, they should be turning to look because of the gloriousness of my car. Not the belt haha

 

Okay so i decided to just go spray the stuff on it tonight and i sprayed it on every pulley and it was still kinda squealing so idk if it worked. I sprayed alot more of it on there and i just let it sit and hopefully tomorrow it will be better. If not well then idk haha
