86 non turbo stalling

Long story short, I cannot source an accurate dipstick for my 86 and as a result discovered I'd had too much oil in it during a recent change. Runs fine except for first hour or so it will occasionally stall out when stopped at lights etc.

Have driven it on a 400 mile round trip twice recently over mountains with no issues.

Given my boneheaded oil oversight, what could be causing this? Plugs, PCV, or other?

If PCV valve, WHERE is it located? I bought a replacement but cannot find location and neither can some more knowledgeable friends than I am.

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
