I had the engine rebuilt on my 85 non turbo. I have put about 19k miles on it in the past year. It has been this way ever since I got it. I never drove it until after the rebuild. My question is that when in neutral I give it gas the engine does not snap up to the rpm it should be at imediately. You push the pedal in and hold it steady and it gets up to the rpm it should be at slowly. I think that it should just rev up to the rpm it should be at right away. Any thoughts.

What exactly do you mean by sea foam? Is this a product or are you refering to some from the actual ocean? Where could I get some? I would love to try whatever to get it to work but I am unclear on what you are saying. Possibly I should just take it off and clean it out with water? Thanks for the help.
