My 84zx keeps reving out of control. Sometimes when im at a stop, the revs will just fluxtuate out of nowhere and it will just rev so low that it stalls. Also at times when i go to accelerate from a stop, it will just bog. Can anyone tell me whats causing this? could part of it be the throttle position sensor?

could also be the accelerator cable linkage at the throttle body. take a look and inspect for frayed plastic around the cable. trim away anything that may look like it's causing the throttle to stick.
and this may sound dumb but make sure your floor mat isn't jammed up under the gas pedal. I've had that happen before.
